LAB election 2020: Mizanur-Tushar-Sakhawat panel won the Library Association Bangladesh election!
Md. Mizanur Rahman was elected as the president and Md. Hamidur Rahman Tushar was elected as the Secretary-General of the Library Association Bangladesh (LAB).
The election for the 2021-2023 term was held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Government Teachers Training College from 8 am to 4 pm. Southeast University Library with the cooperation of Mr. Varun Piplani (Senior Specialist) Turnitin Education Pvt. Ltd arranged an online training session on “How to use Turnitin software” for their faculty members on 24th December, 2021. The session began with a special speech delivered by Mr. Varun Piplani on the importance of using Turnitin software in public and private universities. Then he demonstrated a few important features of Turnitin software as well as showed how to check the similarity of a research paper. As an administrator Mrs. Amrita Rani Dash moderated the session. The convenor of Turnitin Software Purchase Committee of Southeast University Prof. Dr. Engr. Muhibul Haque Bhuyan thanked everyone and concluded the program.
